Greetings All!  My name is Michael L.  Thank you for taking the time to visit Love and Marriage for Him.  My vision and hope for this blog is to provide an environment and forum, particularly for men, to learn and share thoughts about love and marriage, with the hope of improving our understanding of love to support strong thriving marriages.  By visiting the blog, I am assuming you have a genuine interest in love and ultimately marriage, whether it be improving an established marriage or embarking on a new union.  Hopefully you will find the variety of topics relevant, interesting, and meaningful to your individual love journeys.  Before continuing, please let me share with you a little about myself and my desires for the blog.

First disclaimer – I am not a psychologist or therapist (trained or self-professed).  Second disclaimer – I make no claims of being a love guru or make no promises of changing anyone’s relationships.

So, who am I?  I’m a man, hopefully somewhere in the middle of my life.  I’m a husband (married to my amazing wife for 23 years) and I’m a father (of four amazing children).  I have deliberately chosen these characteristics because I consider them to be significant accomplishments and markers of my life.  However, the most significant marker of my life is my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  While this is not a faith blog, I must acknowledge that I will not hide my faith.

Finally, I strive to respect all voices, even in disagreement.  I try to project positivity and truth in all interactions.  Now that you know a little bit about me, let’s begin this journey sharing thoughts about love and marriage for him.
